The rangers, especially Damian, were fantastic and made sure we had a truly memorable experience. We saw incredible wildlife up close and personal, and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the rangers added to the excitement. It was the perfect opportunity for our children to learn about wildlife and conservation while having an adventure in the African bush.
My wife says that it would have been great if there were more children's activities available at the lodge.

We got great value for our money at this lodge. The room was comfortable, modern, and had its own private terrace and dip pool. The location was excellent, close to Wonderboom gate, and the staff treated us with attentiveness and passion.
Food for breakfast could have been better with a wider selection.

We went on two game drives a day and it was like being in a real-life National Geographic movie. We saw so many animals, like lions, elephants, and even a cheetah! Our guide, Honest. The lodge itself was awesome too, with comfy chalets and a private pool. It was the ultimate adventure!
The only thing that could have made it even more lit for us young party animals would be if they had some evening entertainment or a DJ by the pool. Just imagine dancing under the stars after a day of safari.

Our stay at Rockfig Lodge was excellent. The luxurious and tidy property had exceptional views across the bush. The hospitality and service provided by the staff, especially Nadia and Werner, were outstanding. The self-catering option was a plus, but we also loved the delicious meals at the restaurant. The game drives were awesome, thanks to the knowledgeable guide, Stephan. This lodge is a must-visit when in South Africa.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Rockfig Lodge Madikwe are simply amazing! The seating area with a comfy sofa makes you feel right at home. The fully equipped kitchen is a game-changer, especially for someone like me who loves to cook. Plus, the private entrance in the double room gives you a sense of exclusivity.
Although the suite at Rockfig Lodge Madikwe has a fireplace, it didn't quite match my taste. However, I understand that others may still enjoy it.

Rockfig Lodge Madikwe exceeded all expectations with its stunning main area and private villa. The ultra-modern design with an African touch was jaw-dropping. The slightly underground observation point allowed us to marvel at a visiting elephant family. The villa was exceptionally equipped and furnished, and the breathtaking view could be enjoyed from the terrace and private pool. The luxury self-catering experience was made even better by the housekeepers who took care of dishwashing and set a beautiful breakfast and dinner table. The option to pre-book catering was a great addition. It truly felt like a home away from home in the bush. Three nights were simply not enough to fully enjoy this fantastic lodge. The management, rangers, and staff deserve a special thanks for their outstanding service. This was by far the best lodge we have stayed at during our holiday, and we will definitely be bringing the rest of the family next time.
